The consortium formed by Odebrecht Infraestrutura, OAS and EIT won the first stage of bidding for Maravilha Port, an area located between the neighborhoods of Saúde and Gamboa in Rio de Janeiro.

The Maravilha Port project involves the urban revitalization of the city’s port area, investing in the recovery of infrastructure, creating highway and transportation alternatives, reorganizing the soil occupation and recovering the local historical and cultural heritage.

Following the example of other cities such as Buenos Aires (Argentina), São Francisco (United States) and Barcelona (Spain), Rio de Janeiro plans to transform the region into an area appropriate for the development of economic and social poles with major tourism appeal.
