The publication consists of recognition for the religious and cultural work of the Franciscan monks, present in Bahia since 1587. The project by Maria Helena Ochi flexor and monk Hugo Fragoso won the Clarival do Prado Valladares award, created by the Odebrecht organization. The book shares the history of the church and convent of São Francisco da Bahia with texts and different photos.

Over recent years, the Organization has supported projects on the modernism of Tarsila do Amaral, the lenses of Cravo Neto, the Bahia of Caymmi, the classics of Villa-Lobos, the cordel of Elomar, the talent of Clarival do Prado Valladares and the paintings of Lula Cardoso Ayres, Alberto Valença and Portinari, among other important artists.
