Odebrecht Finalizes Yet Another Stage in the Miami Airport Expansion Work
Odebrecht United States has completed yet another stage in the expansion work for the North Terminal of the Miami International Airport. In August, it reopened 16 gates of the former Concourse A.
The complete project includes 52 new gates, new installations for the United States Immigration and Citizenship Services, 123 counters, 119 self-service kiosks, 72 federal inspection service posts, a new luggage system with the capacity to transport 45,000 bags per day, 3.2 km of stairs and escalators and an ample area with services for users.
In all, 975,000 m2 of areas are under construction, with the creation of 2,500 job opportunities. Odebrecht United States was also responsible for the South Terminal construction work, completed in 2007.
