The harvest is not even over and the Odebrecht Agroindustrial Eldorado Center, located in Rio Brilhante, Mato Grosso do Sul, has achieved a historic milestone. On October 9, the unit recorded 128,849 t of sugar produced. The last record was recorded in 2012, when the total was 127,559 t.

“The figure shows us how we are capable of increasingly surpassing our results and the challenges placed before us," said Marcelo Fiomari, leader of the Eldorado Center. Until the end of the harvest, we can go even further," he said. On the same day, the Unit also set a new record for milling: there were 2.75 million t of sugarcane, compared to 2.73 million t milled during the same period from the previous harvest.

Twenty Percent Greater

Odebrecht Agroindustrial has demonstrated advances in its operational performance. During the 2015/2016 harvest, it achieved a record of 29.2 million t of sugarcane, representing a 20% growth over the previous one. During the current cycle, the Business hopes to achieve a milling total of 31 million t.

Overcoming challenges and delivery have been keywords at the Business' Agroindustrial Units, which underwent a financial re-structuring process that involved a capitalization by Odebrecht S.A. of approximately R$ 6 billion.
