The Corporative Committee to Fight AIDS, an agency created as an Odebrecht's initiative under the coordination of Angola's National Institute to Fight Against Aids was presented in Luanda on June 20. The Committee receives institutional support from USAID - The United States Agency for International Development. Any Angolan or foreign company willing to fight HIV/AIDS may join the Committee. Its main objectives are the exchange of experiences in fighting HIV/AIDS programs, enrich operations strategies and carry out prevention campaigns. Attended the presentation ceremony Angola's Minister of Health, Sebastião Veloso, USAID's Director for Africa Jeff Ashley, U.S. Ambassadress to Angola Cynthia Efird and Odebrecht's Senior Director in Angola Luiz Mameri with representatives from other firms.
